Still the best Thai food , at least in San Francisco. THE best shrimp papaya salad & I've tried to find better even in Thailand The best duck larb Best Duck & fried rice Still consistent after 10 yrs

Ler Ros Thai is a Tenderloin landmark. This is the goto Thai joint in the Tenderloin. It gets quite busy on Friday and Saturday nights, so we usually go on off days. My favorite dish is actually more of an appetizer. Its the chicken satay sticks. They are skewers with a small amount of elongated chicken. It comes with some veggies but more importantly a delicious peanut sauce. I always ask for extra peanut sauce, which they begrudgingly give. The service here is fine, but not wonderful. The odor is a little funky in the place, but that's likely from the wall being seeped with cooking aromas. The neighborhood is as dangerous as it gets for San Francisco.

We had such a great experience at Lers Ros. Everything was perfect! We had their iced tea which was super good. Then we ordered the crab pad Thai and the chicken peanut sauce, full of flavours and great value for money. The service was also super sweet and kind. Highly recommend this place which was quiet and calm to a Sunday lunch.

Delicious food spot that I would recommend to everyone. The 4 of us got variety of dishes. They were all tasty. Customer service was friendly. Luckily, we went during weekday, maybe that's why it wasn't crowded. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the choices

This was the place that made me a Thai food convert many years ago! I love their tum yum soup with shrimp, the Koh moo yang (pork shoulder appetizer) with rice, and the house special dry tum yum noodle. The space is clean and modern, and I think it's definitely one of the more authentic places around.

While it's in a seedy neighborhood, this is my wife's favorite Thai restaurant in San Francisco. This is the main reason we keep coming back to the Tenderloin. Her go to is the shrimp pad Thai, mine is the eggplant and tofu. Service is friendly and prompt. Seating is comfortable. Ambiance is nice, food is consistently good. Come support this great restaurant in the TL.

This spot is one of tenderloins gems - there's a lot actually. After getting surprised by the quality of the beef noodle soup and pad see ew one night (for pickup I might add), we invited 2 friends and they also enjoyed themselves with fried rice and pad Thai. Service is good for an Asian spot and the restaurant quickly filled up after we got there on Friday night around 8 pm

Impressive thai food! Authentic flavors and so many options, especially seafood options (yay!!) I will say that their dishes are pretty spicy, true to thai food, but they can adjust the spice if you ask. Great service, cute interior. Highly recommend! I'll be back a lot.

Shame on me for never doing a review on Lers Ros until now. I've frequented this place more than any Thai place in the city. It's the best Thai I've had in the city certainly. I've had like 8 different things here and it's always reliable. There's some real adventurous stuff on the menu that I can't go for. But your typical Thai offerings are all money. This place has multiple locations which always worries me when it comes to consistent quality. I can't tell you what to get because it's all been good. Is there better Thai food in the world? Yeah probably, but as far as San Francisco is concerned I'll put this up against anything. (4.8 Stars)
